The chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu, is paying an official visit to the Kingdom of the Netherlands, over 3^rd - 4^th March.

During his visit, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu will meet the Netherlands Chief of Defence, Admiral Rob Bauer, with whom he will talk about the Romanian-Dutch cooperation within NATO, EU as well as at bilateral level.

The chief of Defence Staff will also visit the Allied Joint Force Command Brunssum, where he will meet General Jorg Vollmer, the commander of this NATO important structure. The talks will tackle the defence and deterrence structure on the North-Atlantic Alliance Eastern Flank, the Allied exercises that will be conducted this year and the contributions in the theaters of operations.
