A Romanian Air Force C-27 J Spartan aircraft is conducting an international humanitarian assistance mission in support of the Republic of Moldova, in the context of the COVID-19 pandemics, today, on March 29th, in order to airlift 1.5 tons of medical sanitary protection equipment.

The mission is conducted at the request of the Supreme Allied Commander Europe.

The aircraft took off at 08.00, from the 90th Airlift Base Otopeni, and is heading towards Luxemburg, in order to load the equipment and transport it to Chisinau.
