Defence Minister Nicolae-Ionel Ciuca had a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates to Romania, Ahmed Abdulla Saeed Bin Saeed Almatrooshi, on Tuesday, March 30th, at the MoND Headquarters.

During the talks, the officials approached topics such as development of defence bilateral cooperation and continuation of dialogue in order to identify common interest areas in the context of the signing of the Agreement between the Government of Romania and Government of the United Arab Emirates regarding military cooperation.

At the same time, the two officials approached aspects related to the international security situation, agreeing on the need to consolidate cooperation in support of the peace and security both at bilateral level, as well as at multilateral, regional or international levels.
