State Secretary for Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations, Simona Cojocaru, had a meeting with the Ambassador of the United Mexican States, Jose Guillermo Ordorica Robles, on Thursday, April 1st, at the MoND Headquarters. The Ambassador was accompanied by the new Defence Attache on Aerial and Naval Matters in Bucharest, Major General Rafael Lira Bensemann.

During the meeting, the officials approached topics such as the status of defence bilateral relations and their development perspectives, especially in common interest areas such as the naval and educational ones.

At the same time, the two officials approached aspects related to the international security situation, agreeing upon the need to consolidate peace-keeping cooperation.
