Exercise RAPID FALCON II took place on Saturday, April 10th, at the 57th Mihail Kogalniceanu Air Base, with the participation of several Land Forces artillery units and the US military forces deployed in Europe.

The American military forces participated with two HIMARS mobile artillery systems of the 41st Ground Artillery Brigade deployed at Grafenwoehr Garrison, Germany.

The activity was attended by personnel assigned in the Defence Staff, Land Forces Staff and artillery military personnel of the 8th Tactical Operative Missiles Brigade Alexandru Ioan Cuza' from Focsani Garrison.

The goal of the activity was to develop and consolidate military cooperation between the Romanian and American land forces. At the same time, the activity restated the need for a consolidated interoperability and the higher level of training achieved by the Romanian and US military personnel, both at bilateral and allied level.

The exercise was organized by respecting all norms and measures related to the prevention and spread of the new coronavirus taken by the authorities at central and local level.
