The Bulgarian Chief of Defence, Admiral Emil Eftimov, will make a visit to Romania over 6th-8th July, following the invitation of the Romanian Chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu.

The talks of the military officials will focus on the increased cooperation through joint participation in regional initiatives, bilateral and multinational exercises, as well as consolidation of NATO's tailored forward presence in the Black Sea region.

The visit agenda includes meetings at the HQ MNBG SE from Craiova, HQ MND SE from Bucharest, 8th Operative-Tactical Missile Brigade and 282nd Armored Brigade from Focsani and 74th PATRIOT Regiment from Mihai Bravu. Admiral Emil Eftimov will also have meetings with the Bulgarian military personnel manning the allied structured deployed on Romanian territory.
