The chief of Defence Staff, Lieutenant General Daniel Petrescu, will meet with the Chairman of the US Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee, General Mark A. Milley, and other NATO and American high officials, as part of an official visit he pays to the Unites States of America over 12th 18th July.

The chief of Defence Staff's visit is part of the consolidation of cooperation actions with the United States of America in the field of defence. The solid and dynamic collaboration relations between the Romanian and the American soldiers stand for a vital component of the Strategic Partnership, whose goal is to consolidate Romania's security and promote our country as stability vector in South-Eastern Europe.
