The parade occasioned by the National Day of Romania will be organized by the Ministry of National Defence Wednesday, December 1, 04 between 09.30-09.45 hours at the Arch of Triumph in Bucharest with the participation of the militaries from Army, Air Force and Navy, from the Ministry of Administration and Internal Affairs and the Romanian Intelligence Service. A military and religious ceremony and the lay of wreaths will be organized starting 10.30 hours at the Grave of the Unknown Soldier.
All the military institutions all over the country will hoist the national flag and the fluvial and maritime ships will dress the ships over all. Solemn meetings with all the personnel marking the significance and the importance of the National Day will be organized Tuesday, November 30, 04 in all the military units and cultural and artistically shows, evocations, gala of documentary movies, sessions of scientific communications, exhibitions on the National Day of Romania will be organized at the military cercles and museums, at big units and units commands.
Military ceremony with lay of wreaths at the commemorative monuments and in historical places will be organized by the commanders of the garrisons at the request of the local authorities.
The Romanian contingents in the theaters of operations will organize different kinds of manifestations occasioned by the National Day of Romania.
The central cultural institutions of the Ministry of National Defence are organizing activities dedicated to the National Day of Romania, thus:
- Thematic Exhibition of Books, open till December 4, 04 in the Hall of the National Military Library;
- “Arch over the Time, 1918-2004” Exhibition of Books, open till December 6, 04 at the National Military Museum;
- Day of the Open Doors” at the National Military Museum, on December 1, 04;
- “Carol Pop de Szatmari - Witness of an Era ” Exhibition organized by the Romanian National Military Museum at the National Military Museum in Belgrade, between November 29 and December 2, 04.
