Captain Cristian Dan, PR officer of Hawks of Carpathians 812th Infantry Battalion transmitted:

CIMIC missions fulfilled in the last days by the militaries of the 812th Infantry Battalion were mainly focused on the final evaluation of the infrastructure performed, the computers center for Internet connection, humanitarian assistance and medical support for the inhabitants living in the area of responsibility.

In Al Chabaish a swampy region they ended the construction of a five kms wayto be used by the pupils in their way to school. At the library in Al Islah they installed a network of ten computers for the inhabitants for the use of Internet. The militaries gave the population in Al Fuhud the humanitarian assistance in clothes, boots and toys ensured by Friuli Italian Brigade. All these missions were performed using the financial resources allocated by the Multinational Force.

In one of the poorest region in the Romanian Infantry Battalion area of responsibility the medical teams headed by Captain Oscar Sas, chief doctor of the Hawks of Carpathians an the US Major Ray Kelly saw and treated 50 children and 40 adults in Um Aniesh. At the end of their action the US doctors appreciated the cooperation with the Romanian doctors and expressed their disposability for a future cooperation and the local leader Hammed Taher Ali referring on the support granted by the Romanian militaries declared they will always be received with the wide opened arms, as real friends.
