On Friday, 24 June, State Secretary for Defence Policy, Planning and International Relations, Simona Cojocaru, had a meeting with the Global Head of Government Affairs & Public Policy at Google, Karan Bhatia, at the MoND Headquarters.

The officials approached topics such as the trans-Atlantic relation, with focus on the consolidation of the digital space, the responsible use of technology, ways of upgrading technological infrastructure by means of the joint cooperation initiatives, such as the Three Seas Initiative, as well as the emerging technologies and their impact on our societies.

Another topic of discussion was the issue of the digital transformation within the MoND as well as the current regulations from the digital field and their significant impact on the national and European security.
