Lieutenant Colonel Sorin Bacila, PR officer of the Romanian contingent in Iraq transmitted:
Thursday, January 6, 05 the 812th Infantry Battalion Hawks of Carpathians and the Military Police Company in mission in Iraq participated in Uru-Kaldei fortress near Mittica camp to the religious ceremony of the holly water for celebrating the Baptize of the Lord.

The fortress is considered to be one of cradles of civilization being situated near the house of Abram wherefrom the Biblical characters preached the word of the Lord.

The Romanian militaries during the ceremony were together with their American, Italian and Dutch brothers of arms.
