Minister of National Defence, Vasile Dincu, visited the headquarters of several defence industry companies, as part of an official visit the Romanian dignitary pays to the State of Israel over 14-15 September.

On Wednesday, 14 September, Minister Dincu visited the Israel Aerospace Industries Headquarters, from Tel Aviv, where he met with Romanian specialists who work within the company.

On Thursday, 15 September, the Romanian dignitary visited Rafael Advanced Defense Systems Companies which activate in the field of aerospace and defence and Elbit Systems, a company from the defence industry with important investments made in Romania.

During the talks with the companies' leadership, the Romanian defence industry commended the significant representation of the Israeli firms within the Black Sea Defense & Aerospace (BSDA) International Exhibition organized in Bucharest, over 18-20 May 2022.

Also, he sent the Israeli part the Romanian party's availability for discussing about enhanced cooperation in the field of equipping which may enable the Israeli technological transfer and know-how, by emphasizing the importance of the investments made in Romania.

At the same time, he expressed his conviction that the potential cooperation projects will bring value added to both states and will contribute to the enhancement of bilateral relation by inviting the Israeli companies to continue their cooperation with the Romanian defence industry.
