Minister of National Defence, Vasile Dincu, will pay an official visit to the Republic of Korea over 22-25 September.

The visit agenda includes bilateral talks with the South-Korean Defence Minister, during which the officials will sign a Letter of Intention which will establish the reference marks of the Defence Cooperation Framework Agreement between the two states.

The two ministers will approach topics referring to the international security situation, the consolidation of cooperation within the international organizations, the framework being ensured by the Republic of Korea as a partner of the North-Atlantic Alliance, as well as the support given to Ukraine.

Also, minister Dincu will have meetings with the Minister of the Administration of the Defence Acquisitions Program, with the Chairman of the Homeland Defence Committee and will visit the the DefExpo Korea 2022Armament and Equipment Exhibition.

A meeting with representatives of the Romanian community from the Republic of Korea and a visit to the War Memorial of Korea will also be organized.
