During his official visit to the Republic of Moldova, the Chief of Defence Staff, General Daniel Petrescu, was awarded the Consolidation of Brotherhood-In-Arms Medal of the National Armed Force by the Moldovan Defence Minister, Anatolie Nosatii.


General Daniel Petrescu thanked for this honor, at the same time stating that the distinction is a symbol of the partnership built with the efforts of the Romanian and Moldovan soldiers on the training areas and at institutional level.


Consolidation of Brotherhood-In-Arms Medal is one of the military distinctions of the Republic of Moldova's National Armed Force which can also be awarded to the foreign citizens, being offered in order to promote peace and democracy in the world and to increase collaboration and friendship with the partners of the Republic of Moldova's National Armed Force.

The Chief of Defence Staff, General Daniel Petrescu, made an official visit to the Republic of Moldova over 21-22 September. The visit agenda included meetings with Defence Minister Anatolie Nosatii and with the Commander of the National Armed Force, Brigadier General Eduard Ohladciuc, respectively the participation in the Distinguished Visitors' Day of Annual Multinational Exercise Fire Shield.
