On Monday, 28th November, The Romanian Air Forces conducted a flight escort mission of the TAROM aircraft which provided for the transportation of the NATO delegation that participates in the NATO Foreign Affairs Ministers Meeting, which will be held in Bucharest, over 29-30 November.

Two F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft of the 86th Locotenent Aviator Gheorghe Mociornita Air Base from Borcea escorted, for a 30 minute-period, the TAROM aircraft from its entrance into the country until its landing on Henri Coanda International Airport, Otopeni.

The mission that provided for the flight safety of the aircraft which airlifted the NATO delegation was conducted upon the request of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and was safely executed by respecting the legal requirements and provisions in force.
