Ministry of National Defence donates to the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Moldova medical equipment amounting to 7.302.836,95 lei, based on the Donation Contract signed on 29 December 2022 between the Romanian state, through the Ministry of Finance, and the Defence Ministry of the Republic of Moldova, as part of the continuous support measures provided to the Republic of Moldova. The donation consists of 1,000 face shields, 9,000 boxes of gloves, 2,000 plastic protection glasses, 3 million surgical masks and 500,000 protection masks.

Thus, the MoND representatives will hand over the medical equipment to their counterparts from the Republic of Moldova at Leuseni-Albita border-crossing point over 19-20 January.

The material goods from the Medical Logistic Center and Nord-Sebes Sanitary Depot will be transported to Leuseni-Albita border-crossing point by Joint Logistic Commands units and the export/donation of goods towards the representatives of the Republic of Moldova will be made with the support of CN Romtehnica SA.
