Between February 11 and 13, 2005, Minister of National Defence, Teodor Atanasiu, will participate at the 41st Annual Conference for Security Policy held in Munchen under the main title Peace through Dialogue.

The Conference joins high representatives of the international community ministers of Foreign Affairs and Defence, political-military personalities, businessmen and journalists that will analyze the present political situation and how it will determine the evolution of events.

Among the debated themes will be the relation between the economic development and global security, the challenges of the Middle East situation for NATO and the European Union. UN General Secretary Kofi Annan will present the future role of the United Nations within the global environment of security.

The program of Minister Teodor Atanasiu also includes bilateral meetings with his counterparts from the countries participating in this Conference.
