Between February 16 and 18, 2005 a military delegation headed by General Dr. Eugen Badalan, chief of the Romanian General Staff will be in Sofia invited by chief of the General Staff of the Bulgarian Armed Forces, General Nikola Kolev.

The talks will mainly be focused on the analysis of the stage of the military cooperation between the two armed forces and finding new ways to increase their bilateral relations.

They will exchange information on the participation of the two Armed Forces in international operations, their common actions for peace and stability in the Balkans and their cooperation within regional initiatives.

The two chiefs of Staffs will talk about the stage of reform and modernization of the military forces in the two countries and their participation in the fight against international terrorism.
