Thursday, February 17, 05 at 12.00 hours at Belvedere Hotel, in Predeal a press conference will be held by the organizers of the 47th edition of the International Military Ski Championship organized between February 20 and 26, 05.

At the meeting with the media will be present the executive vice-president of the Organization Committee of this competition, Lieutenant Colonel Stefan Marginean, the mayor of Predeal, Eng. Mihai Vestea, and the Predeal garrison Commander, Colonel Ion Armanu who is also responsible for the technical details of the events included in the competition program.

The 47th edition of the International Military Ski Championship is organized by the Ministry of National Defence in partnership with the Local Council of Predeal Town Hall. About 230 military athletes from 20 countries are competing on Subteleferic track and in the Valea Rasnoavei complex in the giant slalom, long distance ski, biathlon and patrol. They are from Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Chile, Swiss, Estonia, Finland, Germany, Italy, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, Ukraine and Romania.

The events will be scored by the Romanian referees and monitored by 12 representatives of the International Council of Military Sport and the Specialized International Federations.
