On Thursday, February 17, 2005 at 10.45 hours at the 96th Engineering Battalion Command in Bucharest a military ceremony will be organized due to the future departure of IRAK IV Engineering Detachment to the theater of operations in Iraq. The main missions of the Romanian Engineers acting within the Central South Multinational Division are the protection works for the personnel in their area, buildings for working and rest areas, maintenance and repair of bridges, repairing the roads, depot platforms for materials and parking areas for the equipment or landing areas for helicopters.
