Ioan Mircea Pascu minister of National Defense will meet his Bulgarian counterpart Nikolai Svinarov, Wednesday, May 21, 03 at Giurgiu.

The discussions aim the stage and the perspectives of the military bilateral relations, the reform and restructure of the two Armed Forces, the progress on regional initiatives Bulgaria and Romania take part in. Also NATO's evolutions after the Prague Summit, the political military situation in the Balkans, Black Sea region, Caucasus and Middle East, the participation to peacekeeping and countering terrorism operations will be approached.

Bulgarian and Romanian ministers of Defense will have press statements at Prefecture of Giurgu County at 13.30 and 13.50 hours.
