Minister of National Defence, Teodor Atanasiu yesterday expressed during the talks with his Hungarian counterpart Ferenc Juhasz the availability of air transport for the Hungarian Armed Forces for the theater of operations in Afghanistan.

Atanasiu mentioned that about 1.5 tons of the total weight of the load transported by C 130 Hercules of the Romanian Air Force could be allocated to the Hungarian partner in order to solve the difficulties in transporting the troops to and from this Asian country.

Teodor Atanasiu is in Hungary, heading a delegation, in his first official visit on bilateral relationships as Minister of National Defence.
