A delegation headed by the Minister of National Defence, Angel Tilvar, is paying an official visit to Slovenia over 27-28 March, at the invitation of the Slovenian Minister of Defence, Marjan ©arec.

The visit takes place in the context of celebrating 20 years since Slovenia joined NATO. On this occasion, Minister Tilvar will have a meeting with his counterpart and will participate in the debate on the topic Back to the roots and Collective Defence 75 years of NATO.

General Gheorghita Vlad, the Chief of the Defence Staff, who is also part of the MoND delegation, will participate in the official ceremony organized to mark 20 years since Slovenia became a member state of the North-Atlantic Alliance, and will visit the NATO Mountain Warfare Centre of Excellence in Poljee.
