George Cristian Maior, State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defense Policy visited Tuesday, May 20, 03 the Mission of Romania to NATO and the Military Representation to NATO and UE and discussed with ambassador Bogdan Mazuru and the military representative Lieutenant General Ioan Gavril Ghitas and the MoND's personnel from the two structures.

Together with the leadership of the Mission and the Military Representation, the State Secretary analyzed the preparations for the Romanian participation to the activities of the allied committees taking into account the status of Romania as an invited country. They showed the military priorities for fulfilling the specific aims established for short term till Romania joins NATO in May 2004.
