During the recent visit to the US soldiers in Afghanistan, State Secretary Condoleezza Rice for a short period of time was among the coalition soldiers and accepted to make photos with NCO Doru Unghianu, a Romanian soldier on mission in Kabul.

Mrs. Rice congratulated the American soldiers and their colleagues from the coalition for the activity developed in Afghanistan and said to the Romanians that she visited Romania and enjoyed the country.

Rice was accompanied during her visit by the US ambassador to Afghanistan, Ph.D. Zalmay Khalilzad and Lieutenant General David Barno, commander of the Coalition Forces.
