Monday, March 21, 05 a NATO military delegation headed by General John Reith, deputy Supreme Commander of Allied Forces Europe (DSACEUR) will visit Romania invited by General Dr. Eugen Badalan, chief of Romanian General Staff.

During the two officials talks they will present information on the process of reform and restructuring of the Romanian Armed Forces and participation in international operations. In this context, they will approach the themes of NATO Response Force and the possibilities to correlate it with the battle groups of the European Union.

The NATO delegation's program will consist of meeting with the minister of National Defence, Teodor Atanasiu, the president of the Commission for Defence, Public Order and National Security from the Chamber of Deputies, Mihai Stanisoara and the State Adviser from the Department of National Security from the Presidential Administration, Constantin Degeratu.
