A military delegation headed by the chief of the General Staff of the Hungarian Armed Forces, General Andras Havril will visit Romania between March 24 and 25, 05 invited by the chief of the General Staff of the Romanian Armed Forces, General Dr. Eugen Badalan.

During the two officials meeting there will be information on the process of reform and restructuring of the Romanian Armed Forces and the participation in international operations. They will also approach the issues on the Romanian-Hungarian Peacekeeping Battalion and the perspectives of the bilateral military cooperation stressing their cooperation in air transportation for the missions in Afghanistan.

The program of the Hungarian delegation also consists in receiving at the Ministry of National Defence, Teodor Atanasiu and the visit at the 21st Mountain Battalion in Predeal and the 265th Military Police Battalion and the National Defence University in Bucharest.

General Staff
