Between April 5 and 8, 05 a delegation of the National University of Defence headed by the rector General Dr Mircea Muresan will participate in Rome at the Annual Conference of Commanders of Military Higher Education Institutions with the motto New Developments in Training Leaders of Tomorrow.

The Conference will analyze the accreditation of the courses granted by the military educational institutions, harmonization of their curriculums, projection of the distance learning system and endorsement of the educational program of defence colleges and other institutions.

Other members of the Romanian delegation are the pro-rector for education, Commander professor Dr. Florin Rapan and professor Camelia Carapale. The invitation was given by Lieutenant General Jean Paul Raffenne, commander of NATO Defence College, Rome.
The activity enlists the efforts of the National University of Defence in adapting the Romanian higher educational system to the realities generated from our country joining North Atlantic Alliance.
