The Engineering Detachment Irak IV completed a training range this week for an Iraqi Battalion near Ad Diwaniyah.

In three weeks, on about 70,000 square meters the Romanian Engineers made all the works, ground leveling, posts of firing and observation.

Major Mihaita Ciobanca, the PR officer of the Romanian contingent in Iraq transmitted that the command of the Multinational Division Central South evaluated the quality of the works for this training range. The action is part of a bigger plan for the development of a material base for the Iraqi armed forces. The Multinational force is focused on raising the training level of the Iraqi armed forces and police so that they can take over the responsibilities for the security of the citizens.
