A delegation of the Ministry of National Defence headed by State Secretary and chief of Department for Armaments, Ioan Ion participate between April 20 and 21, 05 in the activities of receiving Regina Maria frigate in Portsmouth, United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland.

Members of the delegation are the MoND General Secretary, Georgeta Gavrila; the chief of Navy Staff, Rear-Admiral Dr. Gheorghe Marin; the General Staff Deputy Director, Flotilla Rear-Admiral Dr. Eugen Laurian and the chief of Operational Forces and Navy Operational Command, Flotilla Rear-Admiral Nicolae Surla.
