Romanian Heroes of the World War Two praised in the Czech Republic

Activities occasioned by the commemoration of 60 years from the end of the Second World War in Europe will be organized Tuesday, April 26, 05 in Brno and Kromeritz, the Czech Republic.

Major General Ion Ciupei, commander of the 4th Territorial Arms Corps heading the delegation comprising 20 veterans and a military priest will participate at the inauguration of the monument in memory of the 1,500 Romanian soldiers buried in the military cemetery in Brno.

In the two localities they will officiate the religious service and will lay wreaths at the graves of the Romanian heroes and the Russian, German and other nationality soldiers.
The 20 Romanian war veterans will be decorated by the Government of the Czech Republic.
