State Secretary and chief of Department for Armaments, Eng. Ioan Ion participates between May 3 and 4, 05 in the official opening ceremony of the 8th edition of the Defence and Security Informatics Equipment and Systems International Show IDET 2005 in Brno, Czech Republic.
Ioan Ion will meet his counterpart from the Ministry of Defence of the Czech Republic and will have talks about the mutual interest issues in the domains of equipping and defence industries in the two countries for increasing the bilateral cooperation relations in technical-military area.


State Secretary Ioan Ion, representing the Romanian Ministry of National Defence, will participate in Zvolen,Slovakia, Thursday May 5, 05 at the 60th commemoration of the Second World War end in Europe.
Participants in this commemoration will be the representatives of the civil and military authorities from Belarus, Russian Federation, Ukraine and the host country and they will lay the wreaths at the Central Cemetery of the Romanian Armed Forces and other monuments in the cemeteries in the region.
