State Secretary and chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defence Policy, Ion Mircea Plangu paid between May 31 and June 1, 05 an official visit in Georgia invited by his counterpart Vasil Sikharulidze.

During their talks they approached the issues on the perspectives for increasing the cooperation within EAPC and PfP, the regional cooperation in the Black Sea and South Caucasus, Romania's participation in regional and global political-military cooperation initiatives, the reform within the armed forces, the fight against terrorism and the bilateral military cooperation.
