The graveyards of heroes from Craiova and Braila will be re-arranged between June 8 and 22 and July 4 and 16, 05 by Romanian and German soldiers organized in mixed camps for taking care of the German war graves.

This activity, a tradition of cooperation between the two armed forces aims at rehabilitation of graves and commemorative works in the memory of the soldiers who fought in the two World Wars.

The camps are organized based on the stipulations of the Agreement between the Government of Romania and the Government of the Federal Republic of Germany on the Romanian war graves in Germany and the German war graves in Romania, ratified by Law no. 170/1997.
