Deputy chief of Department for Armaments, Air Flotilla General Eng. Dr. Ion Eftimie Sandu will participate between June 20 and 24, 05 in the 17th European session for those responsible for Armaments (SERA 17) with the theme, Future of Defence Industry.

SERA is organized annually since 1989 by the French Center of High Studies for Armaments and represents an opportunity to strengthen the relations between the European Union members intending to cooperate in common military programs.

During the talks with his counterparts the deputy chief of Department for Armaments will approach the issues on the relation between the defence and the defence industry and the possibilities for equipping with systems of armament and military equipment made in cooperation.

The SERA closing work will be held in the presence of the French Ministry of Defence, Michele Alliot Marie who will present the results of the works in the present geopolitical, strategic, economic and industrial environment.
