Chief of Danish Navy Staff, Rear-Admiral Kurt Birger Jensen pays an official visit in Romania between June 21 and 23, 05.

During the meeting held today, June 22, between the Rear-Admiral Jensen and the Chief of the Romanian Navy Staff, Rear-Admiral Dr. Gheorghe Marin, they approached the initiatives of the bilateral cooperation, the training of crews for counter-mining and the increase of combat divers training.

They also talked about the process of reform within the Romanian Navy, their participation in NATO activities and the increase of cooperation, thrust and stability in the Black Sea region.
