The receiving command ceremony of the MPFSEE political military presidency and military command will occur Friday, July 1, 05 at 11.00 hours on Constanta cliff.
The SEDM-CC and PMSC presidency and the SEEBRIG command will be performed for two years, by rotation by all the counties that signed the MPFSEE agreement. Mister Besnik Baraj, Albania succeeds to Ambassador Ugur Ergun, Turkey and Brigade General Neyko Nenov, Bulgaria will take over the military command from the Brigade General Giovanni Sulis, Italy. Romania is the host country of SEEBRIG command now and representatives of central and local authorities, and political and military MPFSEE countries, representatives of NATO and EU and international organizations will participate in this ceremony.
The representatives of mass media and public from Constanta are invited to participate to this public ceremony with the participation of about 200 soldiers from all the seven countries that signed MPFSEE-Albania, Bulgaria, Greece, Italy, Former Yugoslavian Republic of Macedonia, Romania and Turkey that will be in Constanta between June 28 and July 2, 2005.
Brigade General Giovanni Sulis will have Tuesday, June 28, 05 a short press statement at SEEBRIG Constanta command on the development of this ceremony.
A Press Center will be opened starting Tuesday, June 28 at 12.00 hours at Constanta Navy Operational Command.
In the last two years when the SEEBRIG command was moved in Constanta, Romania the soldiers of the Multinational Brigade participated in 10 international exercises, paid 16 visits of evaluation in the units designed for participating in this structure and more then 45 information visits in commands or headquarters of political and military organizations. The most important activity developed in 2004 was the certification within a NATO process of evaluation of the certain capacities for fulfilling the entire range of peace support operations.
