State Secretary and Chief of Department for Parliament Liaison, Legislative Harmonization and Public Relations, Marius Balu met Monday, June 27, 05 Major General John G. Castellaw, chief of General Staff of the Central American Command (USCENTCOM). During the meeting in USCENTCOM, Tampa, General Castellaw appreciated Romania as the United States trusting partner in the war against terrorism and the participation in Iraq and Afghanistan as remarkable. State Secretary Balu re-affirmed the Romanian Armed Forces support and engagement in the efforts made in the two theaters of operations .
Marius Balu also met the Romanian representants in USCENTCOM, the liaison officers or members of international structures subordinated to this Command.
