State Secretary and Chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defence Policy, Ioan Mircea Plangu paid an official visit in Portugal between June 29 and July 1,05 invited by the State Secretary Manuel Lobo Antunes.

The official talks aimed the European Policy of Security and Defence, increase of the Mediterranean dialogue, the Istanbul Initiative of Cooperation and the armed forces professionalization.

The delegation headed by State Secretary Plangu visited OGMA airplanes factory representative for the Portuguese defence industry.
