200 soldiers from Focsani garrison are acting in evacuating the people from 12 localities from Vrancea County. In Radulesti, Odobesti, Garoafa, Biliesti, Lamotesti, Vizantea, Maicanesti, Campeanca, Doaga, Vanatori, Mircestii-Vechi and Rastoaca they acted with trucks, boats, artillery tractors and armored amphibious personnel carriers.

In Galati the soldiers are evacuating the persons and material goods from Filesti district threaten by the waters.

The soldiers from the Paratroopers Battalion from Bacau are helping in de-blocking the bridge in Margineni. In Ocolis, Alba County the mounting troopers continue their rescue operation of people from 40 flooded houses.

A IAR 330 helicopter and a Puma 75 from the 90th Air Transport Base joined the rescue operations in Cosmesti, Vrancea County. Another Puma 103 helicopter from the same unit are continuing to rescue the people in Zemes, Bacau County.
