Minister of National Defence Teodor Atanasiu flew by an Air Force helicopter to Maracineni, Buzau county in order to evaluate the works in re-making and re-constructing the law metallic bridges on wooden supports recently damaged by the floods.

Thus, a detachment of 60 soldiers from the 10th Engineering Brigade are dismantling one of the bridges and they will build a new one, downstream. A second bridge is consolidated for auto and pedestrian circulation while the third bridge is for pedestrian use on Buzau river.

In the afternoon Minister Atanasiu will be in Comanesti, Bacau county and Maicanesti, Vrancea county where the military units are repairing the ways of communication.
