The opening ceremony of the Romanian-American ROMEX 05 exercise will occur Tuesday, July 19, at 09.00 hours in the camp temporary installed in Babadag shooting range.

The Romanian and the US soldiers will develop between July 19 and August 2 in Babadag shooting range and Mihail Kogalniceanu air base the common training exercise ROMEX 05.

About 1,500 US soldiers from the Air Force and the Army Europe and 500 Romanian soldiers from all the branches (Army, Air Force and Navy) with their equipment will participate in this exercise. The common training includes firings, military actions in localities, escort of convoys, training in aviation and achievement of common projects in few localities around Babadag shooting range.
