Teodor Atanasiu, Minister of National Defence will say Welcome Tuesday, July 26 to the 300th Infantry Battalion Sfantul Andrei soldiers from Galati in a ceremony organized due to their return home.

Between January and July 2005, the 400 soldiers participated in ENDURING FREEDOM operation in Afghanistan. Among the missions the Battalion had there were the missions of patrol in their area of responsibility, secure of base and Kandahar airport, secure of the Territorial Reconstruction Center in Kandahar and the check of water and fuel transports.
