General Rolando Mosca Moschini, President of the UE Military Committee, will be received Thursday, July 28 by the Minister of National Defence, Teodor Atanasiu and will also meet State Secretary and Chief of Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defence Policy, Ion Mircea Plangu and General Eugen Badalan, Chief of Romanian General Staff.

The official talks will be focused on the Romanian military structures adaptation to the process of transformation the European and Euro-Atlantic structures are implied in, and in this context they will have an information on the process of reform and re-structure of the Romanian Armed Forces.

The talks will also focus the military aspects on the process of Romania's join the European Union stressing on the Romanian participation in ALTHEA mission in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

President of the EU Military Committee pays an official visit in Romania between July 28 and 29 invited by General Eugen Badalan. This occasion, General Moschini will be guest of the Navy Operational Command and the SEEBRIG Command from Constanta.
