The Romanian team in Abu Ghraib consists of two physicians and nine nurses, and the one in Camp Bucca comprises two physicians and seven nurses.

The Romanian doctors started their mission in Iraq eight months ago. The first medical team was headed by Lieutenent-Colonel Dr. Mihai TANASE, from November 2004 to May 2005.
