Two weeks after their arrival in Afghanistan, the troops of the 26th Infantry Battalion Neagoe Basarab participated in an integration training session, planned and conducted by the Multinational Brigade Kabul. The main objective was to familiarize the Romanian battalion with the operation area and specific standard operation procedures.

The training was conducted in stages, in cooperation with other national detachments from Italy, Norway, France, Germany and Great Britain that operate in the area of responsibility of the multinational brigade.

The training session ended with a military equipment show organized by the 26th Infantry Battalion Neagoe Basarab. This way, The Red Scorpions had the chance to show the many visitors their weapons and equipment.

After the training session, the commander of the Multinational Brigade Kabul was considered operational and ready to ensure the security during Parliamentary elections in Afghanistan.
