Dr. Eng. Gheorghe Matache, State Secretary and chief of Department of Armaments is heading a delegation in official visit in Belgium invited by his counterpart Major General Guido Andries, between June 2 and 5, 2003.

The program consists in meetings with chief of Belgian General Staff, with national director for Armaments, with president of Belgian Industrial Group for Defense and Security and representatives of defense industry.

The Romanian and Belgian officials will examine the stage of the bilateral cooperation in their area of competence, the possibilities to increase the technical military and scientific cooperation between the two Armed Forces and the perspectives in promoting the cooperation in defense industry domain.
