About 3000 Army troops from mechanized, tank, artillery, ABC decontamination, electronic warfare and military police units, along with aircraft, combat helicopters from the Air Forces, participate in this period in combat maneouvers and exercises at the Cincu firing range, in preparation of the activities to take place within DEMEX 05.

The exercise shows the capability of the Romanian Armed Forces to conduct joint operations, both defensive and offensive, to test the equipment and to create flexible and efficient operational forces for national and collective defence within NATO.
