On Thursday, September 15, the Secretary of State for Administrative Affairs in the Hungarian Ministry of Defence, Mr. Laszlo Fapal Ph.D., will visit Romania upon invitation of the Secretary of State and chief of the Department for Relation with Parliament, Legislative Correlation and Public Relations in the Romanian Ministry of Defence.

The main topics to be approached by the two officials will include giving up conscription in Romania starting with 2007, the ways to make the military career attractive for young people, as well as the bilateral military relations and the transparency of the leadership of the Ministry of National Defence.

The program of the visit will also include meetings with Secretary of State Ion Mircea Plangu, the chief of the Department for Euro-Atlantic Integration and Defence Policy and the Member of Parliament Mihai Stanisoara, president of the Defence Committee, Public Order and National Security in the Parliament.
