During September 15 to 19, 2005, a detachment of the Romanian Air Forces, consisting of 14 troops and five aircraft participate in the INTERNATIONAL AIR SHOW ARCHANGEL 2005, taking place on the Tanagra airdrome in Greece.

Two MiG-21 LanceR aircraft and two IAR-330 SOCAT helicopters will be presented at the exhibition while an IAR-99 SOIM aircraft will fly a low altitude.

The air show will be attended by air forces from 12 European states, ten of which are NATO member states.
